We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
- Qualified Accountant – Audit/Accounts Senior, based in Clonakilty
- Accountant – Audit/Accounts Semi-Senior, based in Clonakilty
Qualified Accountant – Audit/Accounts Senior, based in Clonakilty Office
This position brings a challenging role with growing County Cork based firm with an interesting portfolio of clients. It would suit a well organised individual with a positive & proactive approach and a commitment to providing a high level of client service.
Required Professional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience planning and completing audit/audit exempt clients to partner review stage
- A recognised accountancy qualification and be able to demonstrate formal training
- Strong audit, accountancy and taxation skills working with small/medium sized clients
- Strong knowledge of current auditing & accounting standards & company law
- Taxation experience would be an advantage and would include experience of compliance & personal/corporate taxation planning
- Experience with Payroll & Company Secretarial would also be an advantage
Other Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Drive, internet and email. We are very internet focused!
- Experience with CCH/Viztopia accounts production & Mercia Audit programs preferred, although knowledge and experience with another computerised accountancy/audit application and shown ability to learn fast may suffice
- Strong verbal & written communication skills, particularly in dealing with clients
- Ability to work on own initiative, to tight deadlines and to budgeted fees
- Ability to follow practice systems and procedures
- Supervisory and planning skills essential with strong attention to detail

- Experience with Payroll & Company Secretarial would also be an advantage
