We are assisting a client in the SaaS sector in their search for an outstanding candidate for the following position:
Summary
The Professional Services Director, EMEA, will be responsible for, and lead, the company's implementation projects and consultants. The candidate will be a high energy "figure-it-out" individual that can interface with the sales team and can discuss the company's implementation professional services methodology to customers, scope and deliver projects on time and on budget with maximum customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary role of a Professional Services Director, EMEA, is to manage implementation projects within EMEA and work with sales to acquire new and service existing customers:
- Responsible for overall solution delivery success and client satisfaction
- Identify and develop opportunities for expanding the use of the company's solutions, products, and services
- Facilitate each phase of large/strategic project implementations
- Ensure internal processes are followed during solution delivery
- Ensure scope control and change management process are followed
- Work with project team members with developing and documenting test scripts.
- Strict adherence to contractual project timeframes is required to ensure on time and on budget solution delivery.
- Facilitate regular communication of project status and budget to Partners and our implementations teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise on the capabilities and constraints of the applications
- Identify and communicate future sales opportunities to the Aasonn sales team.
- Participate in the proposal development process as requested by the Director of Professional Services.
- Represents Aasonn interests for customer relations including participation in project kick-off activities, executive committees, and other key meetings and groups as needed.
- Provides leadership and direction to the Project Managers and their teams.
- Works with the sales team, providing input into RFP responses as needed.
- Works with the Projects Coordinator to assign project personnel.
Job Description and Requirements
- Works with the Director of Training and Development to create, modify, and execute internal and external training curricula for consultants.
- Develops and maintains certification programs for all consultants in conjunction with software partners.
- Reviews actual and/or potential project risks and provides direction to the Project Managers and Consultants on potential/mitigating strategies.
- Develops the skills and competencies of subordinates through training, empowerment and developmental activities related to current and future jobs.
Qualifications and Competencies

- Demonstrated technical knowledge of web applications in outsourced software as a service (SaaS) or an application conversion environment.
- Experience managing the implementation of major software applications
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Adept at working in a multi-tasking environment; flexible in responding to changing requirements.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, computer science, information systems, education or related field or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM software.
- Must have excellent communication abilities both verbal and written.
- Successful track record in a corporate HR department with significant domain knowledge in training, general HR, succession, compensation, payroll, or other closely allied HR areas.
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require significant travel that requires overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work.
